Strip / Wire Testing Clamps

A pair of strong acrylic clamps which allow strip or wire material to be investigated for breaking strain, stretch etc.
The clamps have wing-nut fixings and an attachment system which ensures freedom from slip. Typical investigations would include comparison of carrierbag material strength, newspaper strength including ‘grain’, stretch of fabrics and plastics etc. The top clamp can be hooked onto a support
such as a laboratory clamp and the lower one loaded with standard slotted weights.
