Kundt’s Tube, Unmounted

Description

For showing the wavelength of vibrations in air in a closed
tube, by the depositing of lycopodium powder at the nodes.
Comprising a glass tube approximately 1.5m in length and
3Smm in diameter.
At one end is a tightly fitting but adjustable cork piston fitted
to a wooden rod 390mm long and at the other end, a loose
fitting piston attached to a wooden sounding rod, 1.5m in
length and 13mm diameter.
Overall length fully closed, 1.89m approx.
