Plastic, with calibrated scale: The student Spectroscope
is fitted with a high efficiency grating in the eyepiece which
produces a brilliant spectrum even with poor light. The
adjustable slit permits the maximum resolution and the
sharpest bands at predominant wavelength which are
viewed directly against a scale calibrated in nanometers.
